Sand Ridge Socks

I finally got around to casting on my first Project Spectrum project last week. I'm making up a sock pattern which was inspired by the colour of the yarn (Lornas Laces Shepherd). The colourway is called Sand Ridge, and both the colours and the name evoke wintery beach images for me, so I'm trying to make cables that look like sand ridges on a beach.

Those are beautiful ridges - and beautiful colors! I wish I could knit like that!

Beautiful, I love both the yarn and your pattern! I'd like to knit a cardigan with waves like that :-)

I love the cables, it really captures the ridges of sand on a beach and works wonderfully in the yarn you have chosen.

Oh what beautiful socks! I was just looking at that yarn wondering whether to treat myself and I think you have helped me make up my mind!

Flotte sokker.
