Turbulence U-Neck Sweater

Pattern: Turbulence U-Neck from Knitting Nature by Norah Gaughan
Yarn: Duo Silk/Merino from Design Club dk, held double
Started 2 October 2006
Finished 25 February 2007
Modifications: Made body some centimeters longer, and added a bit of waist shaping. Not much though.

Comments: I love this sweater, I think I'll wear it a lot. The neck is a bit wide because I picked up too many stitches in the back. I might have to do something about that, but I'll wear it and see how comfortable I feel about it first. Duo Silk a fabulous yarn. It's soft, has the elasticity of wool, and the silk makes it a tiny bit shiny. I don't think it shows in the picture, you'll just have to take my word for it. It's a shame this yarn is only available in a handful of colours, most of them baby colours. But this dark brown is a favorite of mine!

My monitor here at work shows only a solid black sweater. Maybe at home on my laptop I'll be able to see the cables! ;-)

Fantastisk genser!!

Wow. It looks really great. I'm going to have to knit that one after I finish what's on the needles.

Wow! You're both so beautiful! I didn't really think I liked this sweater as presented in the book, but now I might have to reconsider..

Beautiful! It looks even better in the color you chose than the one pictured in the book. Yours is so much more sophisticated.

That's a lovely sweater!! Well done.
I have always been to afraid to knit with black yarn, but after seeing yours I might give it a go in the near future.
