I got mail!

there's nothing that brightens a rainy November day like a few colourful goodies in the mail box. To the left Fleece Artist merino in the Moss colourway, to the right a new sock yarn discovery called Happy Fuzzy Yarn. This is a handpainted yarn from a one woman business. She explains on her website that she started selling her hand spun and hand painted yarns to save up money to emigrate to Canada. Well, if that's not a worthy cause for yarn shopping, then I don't know what is. Canadians are the nicest people, eh?!

Here's a close up of the yarn. It wonderfully soft, and the colours are rich and saturated. Fabulous! Oh, and with reference to yesterday's post, this sock yarn contains 20 % nylon! This colourway is called "Because I said so"!

There were new craft magazines too in the mail today. I'm going to curl up in the sofa with a cup of tea now.

Oh, what a nice package! I really like the colorway. Socks and tea. It doesn't get better than that.

Ad julegavetips,- hvis du har noe alminnelig restegarn liggende ( ikke fancy) så kan din far trenge ei topplue, uten dusk, til havebruk. Det ser noe "johan" ut med den gamle burberry-sixpencen.
