my first garter stitch scarf!

Pattern: Karen Baumer's Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf
Yarn: Karen Noe shetland wool Ombre.
Started: 10 September 2006
Finished: 29 September 2006

Edited to answer question: The yardage is 208 m/100 gram. I used 180 grams of yarn (pompoms included).
I made 5 full triangles, pluss the "halves" at each end.

absolutely fantastic how the colors get distributed when knitted like that! the little pon-pons are perfect! I wonder; - what is the yardage of that yarn - and how much did you use?

It is very beautiful. The yarn colours work so well with the knitting!
And: a huge rock just landed on my head. I have forgotten something important. Completely. Forgotten. Something. Really. Important.
Sorry! I will get around to it ASAP!
