Spring things for Nene

We planted an apple tree for Nene a couple of weeks ago. It has three kinds of apples on it, and is a gift from her aunt. Nene is thrilled to see it bloom already.

I'm knitting Nene a cotton sweater for the summer, and the colourway that is more in Nene's taste than mine is growing on me as I see how well it matches the apple blossoms!

Edited to add: The yarn is Mandarin Fiesta from SandnesGarn.

Nydelig fargeinnlegg;-) Og swing thing var virkelig flott på Nene, godt at du endelig fikk tatt et modellbilde!

Hi Marie
Lovely colours - the knit looks interesting. Loved Nene's little coat in your previous post too.

I love the photo of the apple blossom and the yarn for Nene's sweater is so pretty! Nene looks lovely in Swing Thing in the previous post, too!

I've bought a lot of pink-and-green yarn lately, and I can't figure out where my sudden desire for those two colors comes from. Channeling my inner four-year-old, maybe? ;-)

I like your choice of garter stitch for Nene's sweater. It works so beautifully with variegated yarn.
