Mermaid looks fab - congratulations!
What did you do about blocking in the end?
Wow! It is just beautiful! The colours are lovely and it looks like a good fit. I must get knitting on mine.
It's really beautiful! Congrats!
It's gorgeous - I love the colours.
Anne
it looks fantastic! well done - it is so gorgeous on you
Excellent job. It's very flattering.
Wonderful Tari. Mermaid looks beautiful!
An excellent job well done and it looks gorgeous on you. You have every right to feel pleased with yourself. Wear it with pride! :-)
I've put off starting mine for 2 months. In swatching, my stitches look best on a 2.5 mm bamboo (have the needle on order - not easy to get in the US). But I'm worried about gauge. Usually row gauge doesn't matter so much, but is real important on this. Did yours come out right in length and width without adjusting?
Fantastic, what a lovely jacket, well done.
Dreamy! It fits you well.
wow!!! det må være den lekkreste jakke jeg har sett!!Fy flate den var fin og så flott den satt.Og for en jobb på små pinner....bøyer meg i støvet jeg ja.
Love it! The back is stunning!
Wow! It's fabulous. The shaping is just fantastic, and the colors. You should be so proud of yourself, it's such an incredible piece!
I'm so impressed! You already finished it!! It's sooo gorgeous - well fitted and the color combination is the most pretty I've seen around on mermaids! You should be very proud of it!

You should be proud. Your mermaid is just lovely. Sorry to be so late to the party - too busy with that *!~~% Rosy Fingered Dawn! I love your mermaid colours, I love the flattering fit, I love the whole thing. Well done, you.
Oj, den er bare rålekker!!!!!!! Og den satt jo som støpt!! Utrolig flott!!!!
Den ble virkelig utrolig fin! Jeg kommer til å drømme om den i natt! ;) Og for en utrolig bra passform! Jeg har spart linken til mønsteret, takk for at du la den ut. :D
A link on Knitter's Review forum brought me to your website. Your Mermaid is beautiful! Seeing your pictures helped me immensely, as I am knitting Mermaid too, in exactly the same colors. After knitting to the half-way point of the back, I made the sleeve, and ... catastrophe. The sleeve is too small (3-4cm smaller than the armhole). I am getting gauge exactly, both stitch and row, using a 2.5mm Addi turbo, so I am very frustrated. I see from your pictures that it appears you had the reverse problem; your sleeve seems bigger than the armhole on the body?!
Also, isn't is funny how we are all knitting the same things, but everybody does it differently? For example, I *always* wet block, and have never ever steam blocked. I am petrified that the steam would cause the wool to felt...
WOW!! What a really awesome work. Thanks for sharing and inspiring...
